Yehliu Geopark is an absolute must-visit geological wonderland for anyone who’s looking for a mesmerizing and educational experience on the unique landscape of Taiwan’s northeastern shore. Many geological wonders, such as Queen's Head, Fairy's Shoe, Ice Cream Rock, and Chicken Drumstick Rock will leave you in awe!

Jinguashi 13 Ruins

Located by Yin Yang Sea Observation Deck, the now desolate ruins of a once gold refinery has become an attraction known for its surreal, haunting beauty. A public restroom is available here. We will take a restroom break here before we head to the Golden Waterfall.

Yin Yang Sea

Ying Yang Sea is a geological wonder that will leave you in amazement. The striking contrast between the vibrant blue and golden hues of the sea creates a picture-perfect setting for a memorable experience. A free observation deck is available in the parking lot for the visitors to have a clear view of the confluence.

Golden Waterfall

Nestled by a tranquil hill by the 13 Levels Ruins, the waterfall is known for the cascading hues of the yellow-ish water and its surrounding beauty. A visit to the Golden Waterfall is a must for those who are also visiting Jiufen Old Street.

Jiufen Old Street

With a nostalgic atmosphere, charming alleyways, and stunning views of the coastline, the neighborhood is now known for teahouses, street-food stalls and souvenir shops. We will have lunch here before we head to Shifen Waterfall.

Shifen Waterfall

Adjacent to the Sky Lantern Plaza, the park provides a loop trail to several viewing decks on which the visitors can experience the breathtaking view of the waterfall from different angles. The length of the trail is 1 kilometer (approx. 0.6 miles). It will take 20 minutes to complete. The trail is not recommended for travelers with walking / mobility issues.

Shifen Old Street

Known for bringing the highlight for Taiwan on the international tourism theme, the iconic sky lantern tradition offers an enchanting experience to thousands of locals and tourist-alike.
