Departing from the city of Ushuaia, we’ll travel along National Route No. 3 heading northeast, towards the mountain peaks of Monte Olivia and Cinco Hermanos.
Along the way, we’ll arrive at the Carbajal Valley, where we’ll make a photo stop to admire cirque glaciers, hanging valleys, and active peat bogs. This moment offers a chance to enjoy stunning winter postcards and create unforgettable memories.
Our second stop will be at a Winter Center, where we’ll have a brief orientation about the area while enjoying a delicious mountain coffee and a light snack. Then, we’ll put on snowshoes for a short walk to take photos and soak in the impressive landscape.
As we continue, we’ll see more peat valleys, small glaciers, cross-country ski centers, and other snow activities. We’ll also spot the Cerro Castor alpine ski resort, waterfalls, and areas shaped by beavers—fascinating examples of how wildlife transforms its environment.
At the Garibaldi Pass viewpoint, a must-see spot for breathtaking travel photos, we’ll pause to take in panoramic views of Lake Escondido, Lake Fagnano, and the surrounding landscape.
After this final stop, we’ll begin the return to the winter center area. Once there, we’ll enjoy a tasting of local distilled spirits.
Before sitting down for a traditional Fuegian lamb lunch, we’ll hop on snowmobiles for a ride through Patagonian valleys and forests—an exciting opportunity to take photos and enjoy a truly unique experience. Don’t miss it!
After lunch, we’ll return to Ushuaia and drop each passenger off at their accommodation.
