Two days of hiking, immersed in the wild Marmarole mountain range. Not far from Cortina and other famous places, this corner of the Dolomites instead offers us quiet valleys and off-the-beaten-track trails. We will walk along a stretch of the spectacular Alta Via n° 5 and also the renowned Marmarole Runde.

A weekend also suitable for those who want to try a new 2-day experience at high altitude, with a night at the charming Rifugio Bajon.

Meeting point: Auronzo di Cadore (BL).

The stages:
Day 1: We ascend along the Poorse Valley in the direction of the Ciareido Refuge. After a break, we pass under the Campanile Ciastelin to finally reach the enchanting Rifugio Bajon, a beautiful balcony overlooking the wild Val d'Oten and the mighty peaks of Antelao, the King of the Dolomites (the second highest peak after the Marmolada). Overnight stay in the mountain hut with dinner and breakfast
included.

Day 2: We now set off towards the Forcella Bajon to then enter the Val Bajon of the same name. We are now immersed in the Marmarole mountain range with its rugged peaks: Croda Bianca, Cimon del Froppa, and Punta Sorapis, to name a few. Home to ibex and the site of historic mountaineering feats. We head back towards the bottom of the valley to return to the starting point.
