What you can expect

  • Discover Würzburg in a special way – with history, enjoyment, and two wines in a glass. This roughly one-hour city tour combines the main landmarks of the Old Town with the enjoyment of Franconian wine.

We start on the Alte Mainbrücke with a glass of fresh white wine and enjoy the view of the Marienberg Fortress and the Käppele. During the walk through the old town, you will learn exciting things about the history of Würzburg and see the City Hall, the Vierröhrenbrunnen fountain, and the Marienkapelle chapel on the Unterer Markt. Continue to the Upper Market with the baroque Falkenhaus. At the Neumünsterkirche, you will learn more about the missionization of Würzburg by the Franconian apostles Kilian, Kolonat, and Totnan. At the end, there will be a glass of red wine at the cathedral – an enjoyable finale with history and a view.

The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and is an entertaining experience for anyone who wants to combine wine and Würzburg. Also ideal as a prelude to a leisurely afternoon or evening in the city.
