What you can expect

  • Visit the Neon Muzeum, Europe's first and only museum dedicated to neon signs. Since 2005, the museum has been tirelessly engaged in the enormous task of saving, documenting, and preserving the last surviving remnants of the once-great state 'neonisation' campaign across the former Eastern Bloc.

Explore the museum's permanent collection, which contains hundreds of fully restored and dazzling historical neon signs, as well as other electro-graphic artefacts. Many of these pieces were designed by the great graphic artists of the age, the designers responsible for the world-renowned Polish Poster School.

Be astonished by the sheer creativity and unique characteristics of a hitherto unknown art form, which was born from revolution, served as state propaganda, and was omnipresent throughout Poland and the Eastern Bloc's post-WWII urban landscape.

The Neon Muzeum is a museum like no other - where history meets art, and darkness meets light!

Visit us in our new central Warsaw location in the famous Palace of Culture and Science.
