We will be starting at the lighthouse describing the coastline from above, from the rivermouth of Bayonne north to the distant southern basque country. Then we'll head down to the beach
through the eclectic streets discovering the secrets of it's architecture and have a stop in front of the iconic summer palace of Napoleon the third and it's intricate neighborhood.
We will talk about the crazy days off thermal baths in the 18th all the way to the intense surfing history of Biarritz. Of course we will have to talk about the fashion and couture legacy of Biarritz and Coco Chanel best kept secrets… Then we'll follow the coastline to discover the old scenic fishing village and finish our tour with walking above the water on the incredible passerelle leading to the rock of the Virgin. Our tour will end downtown next to the cosy beach of the port vieux and I'll give you all my insight to keep going with your day.
My tour will be focusing around history, architecture, anecdotes about most iconic characters of Biarritz but also geography, nature, geology, and of course the Basque culture.
