Join me and we'll step beyond the usual Wadi Rum experience and take on one of the desert’s most iconic and challenging climbs. The Burdah Rock Bridge trail is a hands-on scramble, and I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. I’ll provide all necessary safety equipment, so you can focus on the climb and the views—it’s not just about seeing the desert, it’s about earning it.
We’ll start with a 4×4 ride into the protected wilderness. From the base of Jebel Burdah, the climb begins: I’ll lead you across steep slabs, natural chimneys, narrow ledges, and exposed ridges, showing you the safest way through the sandstone.
As we approach the arch, there’s a short free-solo section that I’ll demo out and walk you through. It requires focus and balance, but I find that this is the most rewarding part of the trek. After a final push across the open ridge, we’ll step onto Burdah Rock Bridge, suspended above the desert with sweeping views all around.
After the descent, I’ll prepare a traditional Bedouin lunch in a shaded spot beneath the cliffs. You can rest, enjoy the meal, and take in the stillness of the desert before we head back by 4×4 through the valleys of Wadi Rum.
This adventure is for anyone ready for a technical, physically demanding, off-the-beaten-path experience—and I’ll make sure you do it safely while having an unforgettable time.
