Built by Gabriele d’Annunzio with the help of architect Gian Carlo Maroni, this site commemorates the poet-soldier’s “inimitable life” and the achievements of Italians during World War I.

Next, visit Il Museo Divino Infante, home to a remarkable collection of sculptures depicting the Christ Child and, in some cases, the Virgin Mary as a child.
