What you can expect
Discover the Kennedy Space Center accompanied by a French guide.
Departing from Orlando, we'll discover one of Florida's most extraordinary attractions: the Kennedy Space Center. It's a complete change of scenery! And of course, your French guide will be with you every step of the way.
You'll see the entire history of the conquest of space right before your eyes, from the Apollo program, with the legendary Saturn V rocket, to the Space Shuttle Atlantis, which you can admire in a specially dedicated hall!
We wanted to offer a tour of the Kennedy Space Center in French, because it's a unique place, and one that French-speaking travelers don't necessarily think of at first glance when visiting Florida.
It represents a large part of the history of space exploration, but also its future.
Departure is only from Orlando and the surrounding area, and we'll pick you up at an address you've given us, arriving in the late morning for a visit you won't forget.
Itinerary and tour description:
Rocket Garden Tour: Located at the entrance to the park, the Rocket Garden puts you right in the mood, presenting all the types of rockets launched by NASA since the beginning of the conquest of space. All the major programs are on display: Mercury, Gemini and, of course, Apollo.
Discovery of the Atlantis shuttle: since the retirement of the space shuttles, they have been scattered across the country's various aeronautical museums. The Atlantis hall is not just a static presentation of the shuttle, but a retrospective of NASA's Shuttle program.
Departure by bus to Saturn V Hall: The bus ride is a visit in itself, with screens inside to relive the history of the American conquest of space, but it's also an opportunity to get close to the mythical launch pads from which the pioneers of space exploration took to the skies. They are still used today for Space X and other launches.
Astronauts Hall of Fame: A memorial dedicated to astronauts, it portrays numerous astronauts in their daily lives and on their missions.
There are many additional activities on offer, including the Imax Theater (breathtaking 3D projections taken from space by the astronauts themselves) and the Astronauts Memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives on mission.
It's worth noting that you may be able to see a rocket on its launch pad if the visit takes place shortly before a launch!
Then back to Orlando.
