The Pyramid of the Moon is located at the northern end of the Avenue of the Dead and serves as a focal point of the city’s ceremonial core. The Citadel (Ciudadela) is a vast ceremonial complex in Teotihuacán, capable of holding thousands of people and likely used for important public and religious events. At its center stands the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, also known as Temple of Quetzalcoatl, one of the most richly decorated structures in the city. Its façade is adorned with striking stone carvings of feathered serpents and other symbolic figures, reflecting the religious beliefs, power, and artistic sophistication of the Teotihuacan civilization.
