The activity begins in a small village surrounded by nature, where participants will be welcomed into an intimate and atmospheric setting. After a brief introduction to the figure of the Cogas—the mysterious witches of Sardinian tradition—we will begin a journey through legends, popular beliefs, and stories handed down orally.
In a charming corner decorated with symbolic and natural elements, we will show you the tools and ingredients used in the rituals of the ancient healers. Participants will be able to touch local wild herbs, essential oils, and resins, learning to recognize their properties and meanings.
Guided step by step, we will create together a handmade ointment inspired by traditional recipes: a practical and engaging preparation that stimulates the senses and connects us to the wisdom of nature. During the process, we will explore the symbolic role of each ingredient and the importance of the ritual gesture.
The workshop will end with a moment of sharing around the fire (or in a cozy space in case of bad weather), where you can reflect on the experience, taste a local herbal tea, and take home the ointment you made as a souvenir.
