What you can expect

  • Underground Verona is the only exclusive tour that lets you discover the city's Roman origins starting from its underground levels.
This is not just a guided visit, but a genuine archaeological experience during which, as you descend into the subsoil together with the archaeologists who carried out the excavations, you will be able to observe the ancient structures up close and understand them very clearly.
The tour begins with a visit to the archaeological area of Corte Sgarzerie, where you can see the remains of the city's most important and monumental public temple.
The tour then continues with a walk outside to visit the archaeological area of Via San Cosimo, where the remains of the city's defensive walls are preserved, as well as some rooms of a Roman domus.
