The Vereda de la Estrella is the most beautiful trail in Granada. It's not just a beautiful hike; it's the epic feeling of traveling back in time through mining history, walking among chestnut, ash, oak, and maple trees.
We'll meet at the Güéjar Sierra Sports Center, and our gateway to the National Park will be the confluence of the Genil and San Juan rivers. During the journey, the trail gives us an unusual greenery, and of course, we'll visit the imposing Centennial Chestnut, “the Grandfather.” You'll enjoy the best viewpoints in the valley with time to rest, celebrate, and admire these simply unparalleled landscapes, venturing far enough into the valley to enjoy all its beauty without the effort of the full route.
We'll cover 15 kilometers of medium-low difficulty, with a duration of 8 hours for the round trip. Its positive elevation gain of just +450 meters is ideal for regular hikers looking for a full immersion without a big athletic challenge. We go out in small groups of no more than 12 people to ensure safety and a personalized experience.
This route is suitable for regular hikers, active families, and anyone with a moderate physical condition. If you're looking for history, natural beauty, and a friendly challenge, this adventure is for you!
