We depart from Ushuaia on National Route No. 3, which will accompany us throughout the route through Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Our first stop will be the End of the World Station, where you can (optionally) take the old Prisoners' Train, now a tourist train that revives part of the history of Ushuaia's origins.
Then, we'll venture into the unique landscapes and ecosystems of the park. We'll visit Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, a place where mountains, forest, and sea come together in a single picture-postcard scene. There's also the famous End of the World Post Office, which is currently closed to the public. We'll be able to get close, take photos, learn about its history, and enjoy the place, but it's not possible to enter at the moment.
We continue to the glacial Lake Acigami (also known as Lake Roca), surrounded by forests and mountains. We'll walk along its shore and, weather permitting, see the imaginary line that divides Argentina and Chile on the other side.
The last stop is Lapataia Bay, the end of National Route 3 and also of the emblematic Pan-American Highway that connects Alaska with southern South America. A symbolic place, full of history and natural beauty.
Throughout the tour, there will be short walks to enjoy the surroundings and learn more about the flora, fauna, and geography of Tierra del Fuego.
The day before the sightseeing tour, we will inform you of the pick-up time (this varies depending on where the accommodation is located). Please leave us your WhatsApp contact or email so we can get in touch.
