What you can expect

Step into the heart of Australia’s Red Centre on this immersive three-day small-group adventure, beginning in Yulara. Designed for travellers seeking both cultural depth and unforgettable landscapes, this journey explores Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and Kings Canyon—three of Central Australia’s most powerful and iconic destinations.

Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park is internationally recognised for its outstanding natural beauty and cultural importance. As you travel through this ancient landscape, your guide will share the stories, traditions, and spiritual significance of the land, offering a deeper understanding of the world’s oldest living culture and its enduring connection to Country.

Your adventure begins with an introduction to Uluru, where guided walks reveal sacred waterholes, rock art, and sites of great cultural importance. As the day draws to a close, watch the colours of Uluru shift dramatically at sunset, a moment that captures the magic of the Red Centre. Evenings are spent at remote campsites, enjoying shared meals, open skies, and a relaxed outback atmosphere.

On day two, rise early to experience sunrise before travelling to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). These immense domed formations create a striking contrast to Uluru and offer a powerful sense of scale and serenity. Walk through valleys and gorges shaped over millions of years, before continuing on to the Kings Canyon region, passing remote desert landscapes and iconic landmarks along the way. Another outback sunset and campfire dinner round out the day.

The final day showcases Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, where towering sandstone walls, hidden garden valleys, and sweeping rim views reveal one of Australia’s most dramatic natural environments. After exploring the canyon, the journey concludes with travel through the vast outback, finishing in either Alice Springs or returning to Yulara, depending on your onward plans.

Accommodation is in permanent safari tents or traditional swags, allowing you to experience the outback in comfort or classic style. Guests are encouraged to be part of the journey, assisting with simple camp tasks and sharing in the camaraderie of group travel.

This is more than a sightseeing tour—it’s an authentic Red Centre experience, rich in culture, landscapes, and unforgettable moments beneath endless desert skies.
