This tour has it all! If you’ve never been to Berlin before, this is the perfect way to familiarize yourself with the city. And if you’re a Berlin veteran, we bet you will still learn something new and appreciate the city even more.

Berlin has a long and complex history, and our aim is to help you better understand it, all while enjoying the bikes and having fun. Over five and a half hours, we will cover more than 800 years of Berlin’s history, from with humble beginnings as a fishing village, to the dynamic capital of reunited Germany.

We will spend our day crossing between former East and West Berlin, seeing one of the only remaining sections of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie. Find out how Berlin became the focal point of the Cold War, and how the Berlin Wall was built, cutting the city in two. We will visit the site of Hitler’s Bunker and the Reichstag and discuss the legacy of the Third Reich on modern Berlin.

We will bike through the Tiergarten and stop at one of our favorite beer gardens along the way. Finally, we will show you through the Brandenburg Gate, stopping at the well-known Museum Island before circling back to our starting point at the TV Tower in Alexanderplatz.

Throughout this full day tour you will have plenty of time to ask your guide questions, mingle with your group, take pictures, and find out the best way to take advantage of the magic of Berlin. Our enthusiastic guides are always keen to share their knowledge and point you towards the best currywurst, late-night club, art gallery or German beer.
