Day 1: Jeypore – Waterfalls & Temples

Start early from Jeypore and head to Duduma Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Odisha. Enjoy the spectacular views and take some nature photos. If you have prior permission, visit nearby tribal villages en route, such as the Desia or Bonda tribes.

For lunch, carry a packed lunch or eat at a local dhaba, where you can try simple tribal food. Then, visit the Gupteswar Cave Temple, a sacred cave shrine of Lord Shiva located in a scenic forest. Admire the naturally formed Shiva Lingam.

Return to Jeypore in the evening. Relax or explore the local market, where you can find handicrafts and tribal artifacts.

Day 2: Koraput – Culture & Nature

Leave early for Koraput town and visit the Sabara Srikhetra (Jagannath Temple), a beautiful temple open to all castes. Then, head to the Tribal Museum in Koraput to gain insight into the culture, dress, and traditions of local tribes.

For lunch, enjoy a Desia-style meal at a local restaurant in Koraput. Afterward, visit Deomali Hills, the highest peak in Odisha. Take in the breathtaking views, enjoy a picnic, and go on a short trek. You can also take a small nature walk or do some photography.

Return to Jeypore by the evening.
