Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kidepo Valley NP
Arrive at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, where our driver guide will pick you up in the morning for an 11-hour scenic drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. This remote wilderness showcases Uganda's natural beauty. Enjoy a lunch stop along the way before checking into Kidepo Savannah Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Karamoja Community Visit
After breakfast, embark on a thrilling morning game drive in Kidepo, renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and more against the backdrop of the park’s domed mountains. Return to the lodge for lunch, then visit the Karamojong community to experience their hospitality, savor local cuisine, and enjoy traditional performances. Dinner and overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP via Aruu Falls
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park, home to the “big four” animals: lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. Stop at Aruu Falls for a refreshing break and perhaps a swim. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls and check in at Sambiya River Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls
Start with an early breakfast, then head out for a game drive in Murchison Falls NP, where you’ll see over 70 mammal species. Return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, witnessing the powerful flow of water through a narrow gorge. Look out for crocodiles, hippos, and diverse birdlife. In the evening, visit the top of the falls before returning to Sambiya River Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Departure
After breakfast, check out and head to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a memorable rhino tracking experience, adding the last of the “Big Five” to your safari list. Enjoy an en-route lunch before returning to Kampala for your evening departure.
