What you can expect

Begin by meeting at Tuckton and getting kitted up with boards, paddles, wetsuits and buoyancy aids. Receive a clear safety briefing and tips on the basic paddleboarding techniques, including how to balance, steer, stop, and get back on the board if you fall in.

Once everyone feels ready, launch onto calm, sheltered water and paddle at a gentle pace along the river. Start kneeling if you prefer, then stand up when you feel confident. The route is peaceful, scenic, and a great way to see a quieter side of Bournemouth and Christchurch from the water.

Take a short break during the session, giving you time to rest, enjoy the surroundings, and take photos. Then, paddle back towards Tuckton Tea Gardens, finish the session safely, and return the equipment.
