An incredible experience in the green woods of Umbria is our Truffle Hunting. A day of Umbria-truffle union: our territory, imaginable as an immense truffle ground, offers a very rich variety of truffles, white truffle, prized black truffle, from the most renowned, up to the summer scorzone, each with its own unmistakable scent, flavor and specific characteristics. We will spend a few hours in the countryside surrounding Assisi, the city of peace, and the city of Saint Francis. The experience with the truffle hunter and his dog will be exciting and engaging and you will learn all the secrets of this ancient tradition, made of great love for the territory and intelligent observation. His wise guide, assisted by an incomparable four-legged assistant, will let us discover the secrets of the land, the research with the dog, quarrying and cultivation, through a naturalistic trail of great beauty.
After the hunt, a delicious and appetizing tasting table is set up with typical Umbrian products, Norcinerie, bruschetta with truffles, porchetta, cheeses, local wines and much more.
