Activity itinerary

This guided snowshoe hike takes you through one of Tromsø’s most scenic and culturally rich outdoor areas. We begin at the parking area by the Old Aquarium in Telegrafbukta and walk down toward the sea, following the shoreline past historic buildings belonging to the Tromsø Folklore Museum. Along the way, you will see traditional boathouses and farm buildings dating back to the 19th century. From there, we cross into the museum grounds and continue along peaceful forest trails through Folkeparken, offering a calm and sheltered Arctic nature experience. The route takes us through the forest and back toward the museum area before descending once more toward Telegrafbukta via the Nobile Monument. The tour ends at the sledding hill overlooking Kvaløya, where we stop to enjoy warm drinks and snacks while taking in the beautiful fjord views.
