What you can expect
Hello from ARTIC PARADISE:
We are excited to start again our fjord tours, a very well known experience within our company. While this specific tour does not yet have reviews, we would like to reassure you that our company is highly rated, with a 4.8 score based on more than 500 reviews across our other activities.
For several years, we have specialized in delivering high-quality experiences, particularly in Northern Lights tours. So we know the area very well. During the summer season, we traditionally took a break, but we have now decided to return and expand our services by offering fjord tours again.
Although this is a new product, a highly professional team with extensive knowledge and genuine dedication is the engine under the hood that moves this thoughtfully well designed experience, fuelled by professionalism and love for the Arctic Nature. Our commitment is to provide you with a safe, professional, and memorable experience. Looking forward to it.
Discover with us the breathtaking beauty of Tromsø's fjords on this unforgettable half-day tour, where nature’s magnificence unfolds at every turn. Tromsø, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Arctic,” is renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich wildlife, and cultural heritage, and this tour allows you to experience all of that and more in the comfort of a modern, well-equipped minibus.
As the journey begins, you’ll immediately notice the grandeur of the surrounding mountains and fjords. The pristine beauty of Tromsø’s wilderness is on full display, and the combination of crystal-clear waters, dramatic cliffs, and vast skies offers a sense of serenity that few places can match. The crisp, fresh air, free from the hustle and bustle of city life, makes every breath invigorating, setting the tone for an adventure filled with awe-inspiring sights.
One of the highlights of this tour is the trip to Sommarøy, a picturesque island that is widely known for its white sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, and rugged coastlines. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to see the region's rich wildlife. If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a majestic eagle soaring overhead, its powerful wings cutting through the crisp Arctic air. These iconic birds of prey are a symbol of the wild and untamed beauty of Norway's northern landscapes.
But the wildlife sightings don’t stop with eagles. As you make your way through the region, you may also spot reindeer grazing in the fields, especially as you pass through more remote areas. These gentle creatures are integral to the Sámi culture and are a quintessential part of life in northern Norway. Watching them in their natural habitat is a humbling experience that offers a deeper connection with the nature. Additionally, moose, often referred to as the “king of the forest,” are sometimes seen wandering near the roads. These massive animals, with their imposing antlers and impressive stature, are another incredible sight to behold. Welcome!!!
