Moselle River cruise from Trier-Zurlauben, approximately 2 hours. The boat tour covers a total distance of approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) through the Trier Moselle Valley. Attractions along the way include the Roman Bridge, built in 16 B.C., the old harbor cranes on the riverbank, and St. Matthias Abbey, where the remains of the holy apostle Matthias are still buried today. Many believers still make pilgrimages there every year. Further upstream, the boat turns before the last lock in Germany and continues its journey down the Moselle, passing the old fishing village of Zurlauben, to Pfalzel and back to the starting point.
