During this stop, guests have the opportunity to see the birthplace of Suleiman the Magnificent, the statue of his father, Sultan Selim I (Yavuz Sultan Selim), and the historic church that was converted into Trabzon's first mosque by Sultan Mehmed II (Fatih Sultan Mehmet) following the Ottoman conquest of the city, and has since been known as the Fatih Mosque.
