Lagunas Escondidas

Walk to the trailhead where you can visit all 7 lagoons. Be amazed by the crystalline waters of the lagoons and wonder how such a thing is possible in the middle of nowhere. If you wish to swim, you are allowed to swim in the first or last lagoon only, for conservation purposes. Due to the amount of salt in the water, you experience the sensation of floating. Swim and relax in the water for up to 20 minutes. After swimming, enjoy a shower (we help you with that by bringing water and a pump) and wash the salt off your body to return to the city.
Cordillera de la Sal

As part of the route to the Baltinache lagoons, we pass through the Llano de la Paciencia where we have the Cordillera de Sal on one side and the Cordillera de Domeyko on the other. That road takes about 1 hour to go and then another hour to return.
