What you can expect

Visit these three magnificent islands in one day; This tour is ideal for those who are short time for a visit to Lake Titicaca.

Hotel pickup in downtown Puno at 5:30 AM brings you to the port as the lake catches the first light of morning. The private boat heads directly across open water toward Amantaní Island — a 2.5-hour crossing that offers some of the most expansive views on the entire lake, with the Bolivian Andes visible on the horizon on clear days. On arrival, island families welcome your group at the dock. The morning is spent exploring the island's agricultural terraces, stone paths, and hilltop panoramas — no cars, no hotels, and no crowds. Breakfast with a local family is included, prepared over a traditional stove using ingredients grown on the island itself

From Amantaní, the boat continues to Taquile Island — about an hour across the lake. The walk from the dock to the main square follows a cobbled path flanked by crop fields and sweeping lake views, passing locals dressed in the distinctive clothing of the Taquileño community. At the top, lunch is served at a local restaurant overlooking the water — typically freshly caught grilled trout or a quinoa-based dish. Your guide walks you through Taquile's most remarkable cultural feature: its men have woven and knitted since childhood, a textile tradition declared a UNESCO Masterpiece of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The final stop on the return to Puno is the Uros Floating Islands — the famous reed platforms where your guide explains the construction techniques and daily life of one of the oldest ethnic groups in the Andean region. The spongy totora surface underfoot, the smell of reeds drying in the afternoon sun, the low hum of wind across the lake — a fitting close to a day spent entirely on the water.

Arrival back at your downtown Puno hotel around 6:00 PM.
