Arrival in Pacentro to enjoy a walk in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, where the spectacular medieval castle throned.. Option al lunch in a medieval restaurant, optional guided tour of Sulmona, the city where Ovid was born, note in the world for the centuries-old tradition in the production of sugared almonds. Free time for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2
Arrival in Scanno, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy after having crossed landscapes of extraordinary beauty such as the Sagittarius Gorges and Lake San Domenico, where the hermitage of the same name overlooks, up to arrive at Lake Scanno with its characteristic heart shape. Optional Breakfast in the pastry shop with outdoor terrace that designed and produced the famous Pan dell'Orso, which later became a typical Abruzzo dessert. Walk around the ancient medieval stone village, perched above a thousand metres on a spur in the Apennine mountains and visit an ancient goldsmith's workshop to admire the presentosa. Optional lunch ina mountain hut on the Barrea lake. Return to Rome
