. ISOLA BELLA-It is definitely the most beautiful beach in Taormina!! The pebble beach, nestled at the foot of the city, stretches out in front of the islet of the same name, colored an intense green by the rich vegetation.
The island is connected to the mainland by a thin strip of sand, which disappears and reappears according to the rhythm of the tide.
You can also admire Isola Bella from above from Piazza Belvedere, a fabulous terrace that overlooks the entire coast of Taormina, where you can take splendid panoramic photos!

MESSINA-One of the most beautiful and spectacular historical monuments in Messina, not to be missed, is the Sacrario di Cristo Re, a Baroque-style building with an octagonal shape and a large dome crowned by eight ribs at the base of which are eight bronze statues depicting the virtues: Faith, Hope, Charity, Prudence, Justice, Fortitude and Temperance. The Sacrario houses the remains of 1288 fallen in the Second World War. On the tower is a bell made from the fusion of bronze from enemy cannons stolen during the Second World War. The bell, the third largest in Italy, is rung every evening at sunset in memory of the Fallen in war.
