Our certified guide will meet you at the Almond Dock in Tortuguero where you must be in dark clothing (NOT white) and closed shoes, there you will be informed which sector will go for the observation of the turtle. There are 5 sectors for turtle watching, two of them within the national park can be reached by walking, and three in public area of which one of them is reached by walking and the other two will need a taxi boat.

After the guide informs them where they will go, they will start walking if the assigned sector is near the village or board a taxi boat if the sector is far from the village. Upon arrival at the assigned sector the guide will explain the dynamics of the tour and talk about the Sea Turtles starting the tour, in which they will have 2 hours of time to observe the turtle in one of the processes allowed by the National Park that are the following Spawning (laying eggs), capping or Camouflage the nest, we can see the three processes or some of them since this is a natural event and occurs when the turtle this list.
