What you can expect

  • Discover the essence of the Imperial City with this complete experience combining history, art and heritage.

    Accompanied by an official guide, you will begin with a guided visit to the Alcázar of Toledo, an impressive fortress that throughout its history has served as a royal palace and military headquarters and today houses the Army Museum. Inside, you will explore spaces filled with history, discover archaeological remains from the Roman, Arab and medieval periods, and see collections of weapons, uniforms and other objects that offer an insight into Spain's history over the centuries.

    The experience continues with a guided walking tour through Toledo's historic centre, exploring some of its most emblematic streets and squares, including Plaza de Zocodover and Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Along the way, you will learn about the legacy of the Three Cultures — Christian, Jewish and Muslim — that coexisted in Toledo for centuries and left a profound mark on the city's history and heritage.

    At the end of the walking tour, you will have free time to have lunch on your own and enjoy the city at your own pace. Lunch is not included in the activity.

    At 4:00 PM, the experience will continue. Please meet your guide at the traffic light in Plaza del Ayuntamiento, in front of Toledo Cathedral, where the final part of the tour will begin: the guided visit to Toledo's Primate Cathedral.

    Inside, you will discover one of the great masterpieces of Spanish Gothic architecture and admire some of its most important treasures, including the magnificent High Altar, the Baroque Transparente, the Monstrance of Enrique de Arfe and works by renowned masters such as El Greco
