Immerse yourself in Japanese culture wearing a kimono in Tokyo. This self-guided experience gives you the freedom to explore the city at your own pace in traditional attire, with no tour guide and no fixed schedule. Reserve your dressing time between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Once you arrive at the shop, a staff member will dress you and style your hair before you head out. During July and August, you can wear a yukata, a light summer kimono perfect for the season. From there, the day is yours. Stroll through charming streets, visit local shrines, enjoy a summer festival, or sit down for dinner while dressed in traditional attire. Unlike many rental shops, we offer next-day returns. When you are ready to return the kimono or yukata, simply place your kimono in the pre-provided return bag and drop it off at your hotel front desk, or return it from any 24-hour convenience store if you are staying at a vacation rental or unmanned accommodation. In-store returns are also available until 5:00pm.
