After meeting, your guide will lead the group on a short walk to the sumo tournament venue.

Main Event: Sumo Jungyo Tournament (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Enter the arena with your guide for a 5-hour immersive viewing experience.
Witness the traditional Shinto-inspired rituals that reveal sumo's deep cultural significance, extending far beyond a mere sport. Do not miss the solemn ring-entering procession, the symbolic salt-throwing to purify the sacred space, and the powerful shiko (stomping ritual)—where wrestlers forcefully stamp the ground to drive away evil spirits.

Cheer for wrestlers of all ranks, from rising stars to the legendary Yokozuna (the highest rank of Grand Champion)—the ultimate honor in the sumo world. Feel the palpable tension and raw power as they clash on the sacred dohyo (sumo ring).

The tour concludes outside the arena around 3:00 PM.
