For miso making, you will use high-quality rice koji sourced from a 150-year-old fermentation shop. Then, craft your own onigiri rice balls using Tokyo-grown rice and freshly harvested nori seaweed.
After that, you can eat and enjoy your own onigiri followed by tasting five differnt types of amazake, traditional and tasty Japanese drink .
Next, visit Kōdōin, a historic sub-temple of Zojoji, for a matcha tea ceremony in a peaceful, cultural setting. Learn about the history of tea, and the area of Zojoji.
Enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride around the iconic Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple area — an unforgettable way to see the city from a local perspective.
Lastly, taste premium sake at Minato Shuzo — the only sake brewery within Tokyo’s 23 special wards.
