What you can expect

  • Begin your day with a scenic drive from Tirana to Durrës, Albania’s historic coastal city known for its golden beaches and Roman heritage.

Stop at the beautiful beach of Durrës, where you'll have free time to swim, sunbathe, or enjoy a coffee by the sea. After refreshing at the beach, explore the cultural gems of the city: the Roman Amphitheatre, one of the largest in the Balkans, and the Byzantine Forum with its elegant colonnades.

Continue with a panoramic walk along the famous “Vollga Promenade,” where modern cafés meet ancient city walls. Explore local artisan shops or taste a delicious seafood lunch at one of the seafront restaurants (optional).

The tour is led by a friendly, English-speaking local guide who will share fascinating stories about the area’s history, from Roman times to the modern era. Return to Tirana in the late afternoon, feeling relaxed, sun-kissed, and a bit more connected to Albania’s coast and culture.
