Your adventure begins in San Gil, where we'll pick you up to start the journey to the Suárez River. After about an hour's drive, you'll arrive at the starting point, where you'll be given your safety gear and a briefing to learn the basic rafting techniques and the instructions you'll follow during the descent.
Once on the water, you'll start with calmer stretches that will allow you to become familiar with the raft, the river, and the gear. Little by little, the current increases and you reach the Class 4 and 5 rapids, where you'll have to paddle as a team, follow the guide's instructions, and keep your full attention on every move.
During the descent, you'll pass through a spectacular natural environment, with mountains, vegetation, and rock faces accompanying the route. The Suarez River offers iconic rapids and sections of great force, making each stretch a new challenge. A security kayak accompanies the tour, and the guides will be looking after the group throughout the adventure.
After approximately two hours on the water, you'll finish the descent with the satisfaction of having tackled one of the most demanding rafting routes in Colombia. Before heading back to San Gil, you'll enjoy lunch and a drink to recharge your batteries. The day ends with the drop-off, leaving you with the adrenaline rush, the laughter, and the memory of having conquered the Suárez River.
