What you can expect

Experience Madeira in a unique way on this exclusive 4-hour private tour, traveling in our one-of-a-kind Suzuki Vitara — the only one doing tours on the island.
Enjoy the flexibility of our adjustable roof system: open it fully, keep it partially open, or close the side windows according to the weather and your comfort. Your experience is tailored to you.

We begin with a scenic drive up to Monte and stop at Terreiro da Luta (876 m elevation), a stunning viewpoint to contemplate the views over Funchal.

Our next stop is the Centro de Recepção e Interpretação do Parque Ecológico do Funchal, located along the ER103. Here you can explore a small nature museum — ideal for learning about Madeira’s geology, flora, and fauna — or simply enjoy a short guided walk surrounded by mountain vegetation. You’ll also see the upper sections of the mountain streams (ribeiras) that flow all the way down to Funchal, with safe and easy access. It’s an ideal place for photos or simply relaxing in a quiet atmosphere in this hidden gem.

We continue our ascent to Pico do Arieiro (1,810 m), Madeira’s third-highest peak and one of the island’s most dramatic landscapes. You’ll have around 40 minutes to explore and — when weather allows — enjoy the magical feeling of standing above the clouds. This area is home to unique mountain birds, so keep an eye out for species like the rare Zino’s Petrel and other high-altitude birds gliding along the ridges.

As we begin our descent, we drive to Camacha, a charming village known as the birthplace of football in Portugal. Nearby, we can also take a look at a section of the Levada da Serra, where you can learn how Madeira’s water system works and enjoy a short, gentle levada walk through peaceful forest scenery — no hiking required.

We finish back at your hotel, or if you wish, we can drop you off somewhere else within the city.

This route was carefully redesigned to offer a more eco-friendly experience while avoiding the busiest tourist areas — so we skip the crowds. Each stop was chosen for authenticity, tranquility, and flexibility. We can adapt timings, adjust stops, and even make small personalized detours depending on your interests.
It is always a private tour — and always a new adventure.

Important note regarding the museum: Free admission. Visit availability depends on opening hours.
