Here, we're going to meet the seafarers. You will enter the fish market, a place normally forbidden to the public, to understand the daily life of the fishermen and witness the return of the trawlers. Then, to end this timeless day, you will board the legendary Ange Gardien, a three-masted sailing boat, for an intimate sailing trip, cradled by the waves.
We offer a departure from Montpellier in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, with a small group of no more than 8 people.
THE PROGRAM:
• 2:00 PM – Departure: 2 Rue Pitot, 34000 MONTPELLIER. “Peyrou – Arc de Triomphe” tram.
• 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM – Behind the Scenes of Fishing: Exclusive guided visit of the heart of the fish market. This is the magical hour when the trawlers return to the harbor, escorted by seagulls. You will watch the fish being unloaded, learn how the computerized sale works, and finish with a seafood-themed food tasting of local products.
• 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM – Harbor stroll: A short break to stroll around the harbor, breathe in the sea air, or buy some local specialties to keep cool in the minibus.
• 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Sunset on an Exceptional Boat: Crew, report! Immediate boarding on the Ange Gardien, a true floating work of art. An exclusive cruise to admire the coastline in the golden glow of the evening.
• 21:00 – Arrival in Montpellier.
