What you can expect
Enjoy an unforgettable kayaking experience along the coast of Tenerife, in an area known for its rich marine biodiversity and the possibility of observing marine life in the wild during the tour.
We will paddle across the Atlantic waters alongside a spectacular volcanic coastline, where the landscape, the ocean and the natural richness of the area make every trip a different experience. This area is part of the natural surroundings of the Malpaís de Rasca Special Nature Reserve and the Teno-Rasca Marine Strip, declared a Special Area of Conservation within the Natura 2000 Network, one of the most important and biodiverse marine areas in the Canary Islands. Thanks to these natural conditions, there is a high probability of observing marine life in the wild during the activity, always in a respectful and safe way, without interfering with its natural behaviour.
As marine wildlife lives freely in its natural habitat, sightings can never be guaranteed. However, the area where we carry out the activity offers privileged conditions to enjoy the ocean, connect with nature and discover Tenerife’s marine biodiversity from a unique perspective: from a kayak.
The activity takes place in small groups, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. No previous experience is required: the route is suitable for beginners, the kayaks are stable and easy to handle, and our guides will explain the basic paddling technique, correct posture and safety rules before starting.
In addition, our guides receive marine biology training through specialist associations and professionals, such as Océano de Canarias, allowing us to offer a more educational, conscious and respectful experience with the marine environment.
The tour includes a stop for swimming and snorkelling in clear waters, where, depending on the conditions of the day, you may discover part of the underwater life of the area and observe the seabed along the coast of Tenerife.
We are a company associated with Canary Islands Tourism and Tenerife Tourism, and we strictly comply with their quality, safety and best-practice standards for active tourism activities. Our goal is to offer an authentic, safe and respectful experience with the marine environment.
Important: participants must be able to swim to take part in this activity. The company may refuse participation if it considers that the safety conditions required to carry out the activity are not met.
