Leave Tbilisi in the morning and travel north along the historic Georgian Military Highway, one of the most scenic routes in the Caucasus. Your journey begins with views over the turquoise Jinvali Reservoir before exploring the medieval Ananuri Fortress, once home to local feudal rulers.

Continue deeper into the mountains, passing rivers, dramatic valleys, and panoramic viewpoints. Stop at the famous Gudauri Friendship Monument, where the Caucasus unfolds in every direction.
