Continue to Pasanauri, the legendary birthplace of Khinkali, where you will witness the natural phenomenon of the Black and White Aragvi rivers meeting without mixing. Scale the heights of Gudauri to stand on the Friendship Monument balcony over a deep abyss.
Finally, hop into a 4x4 vehicle to reach the Gergeti Trinity Church, sitting 2,170 meters high under the watchful eye of Mount Kazbek (5,033m).
The excursion starts at 09:00 am
Day 2: Kakheti — The Land of Wine and Romance
Dive into the flavors of Eastern Georgia. Start in Badiauri, where the aroma of fresh Shoti bread fills the air; watch locals bake in traditional Tone ovens and pair it with salty homemade cheese.
Visit Manavi to taste unique white wines and “white” churchkhela made from Mtsvane grapes. Find spiritual peace at the Bodbe Monastery, the resting place of St. Nino, before entering Sighnaghi, the “City of Love.”
Walk the 4km-long Great Georgian Wall and enjoy panoramic views of the Alazani Valley over a glass of wine aged in traditional Qvevri clay jars.
The excursion starts at 07:00 am
Day 3: Cave Cities and Royal Fortresses
Journey south to the land of legends. Stand before the towering Atskuri Fortress before reaching the highlight: Vardzia. This 12th-century cave city, carved into the Erusheti Mountain by King Tamar, features 13 tiers of tunnels, pharmacies, and ancient frescoes.
Afterward, visit the multicultural Rabati Castle in Akhaltsikhe, a stunning complex where a mosque, a church, and a synagogue coexist. End your day in Borjomi, the famous spa town, to drink the legendary healing mineral water straight from the natural spring in the Central Park.
The excursion starts at 07:00 am
Day 4: Armenian Heritage & The Blue Eye of the Caucasus
Cross the border into Armenia to discover the secrets of the Lori region. Explore the UNESCO-listed Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries, medieval masterpieces of Armenian architecture nestled among deep canyons.
Drive through the lush forests of Dilijan, known as “Armenian Switzerland,” to reach the breathtaking Lake Sevan. Climb to the Sevanavank Monastery on the peninsula for a stunning view of the “Blue Pearl.”
Finish your epic journey in Yerevan with a visit to the Museum of Modern Art and a legendary brandy tasting at the Ararat Factory.
