If you visit from the end of August to January, you'll witness the entire process of cherry harvesting, pulping, drying, cleaning the mucilage (coffee husk), roasting, and grinding. During the rainy season, the water wells that feed the orchard are teeming with yellow toads, adding a unique charm to your visit.
From January to March, see the coffee plants in bloom and the coffee fruit beginning to show. The fruit continues to grow from March to August, reaching the ideal size for cutting. Enjoy a refreshing swim in our small pool filled with well water (without chlorine) from March to May, accompanied by delicious grilled meat and freshly made tortillas.
This four-hour tour, conducted in Spanish, offers a comprehensive look at the coffee cultivation process, from seed to cup. You'll be guided through each step by knowledgeable locals, and the tour includes local organic food from the region.
