Day 1: Tashkent – Chimgan
Begin your adventure with a drive to Chimgan village. Start hiking from the lower slope of Small Chimgan mountain. Along the way, spot groups of horses and other domestic animals. Keep an eye out for birds flying above, including vultures and other predators.
From a higher point, enjoy views of the Charvak water reservoir and the border mountains with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Behind Small Chimgan mountain, witness a lush forest filled with fruit trees like almonds, plums, and apples.
After lunch, descend a little inside the forest. Follow a beautiful trail that leads to open spaces and other villages located in the lower part of the mountains around Charvak lake. When you reach the open space to see the lake, start going down the space called Jaupoya. From there, hike towards Yusufkhona village, passing amazing gardens along the way. Finish the day’s hike nearby Yusufkhona village alongside the road, then drive to your hotel.
Day 2: Kyzyl-Jar Cliffs
After breakfast, transfer to the skiing resort near the picturesque Chimgan tourism base. Begin your hiking adventure to the stunning Kyzyl-Jar cliffs (Red Precipice). Hike for approximately 6 hours, taking in breathtaking views from both sides of the mountain ridge.
During the hike, encounter charming shepherds' huts, flocks of sheep, horses, and other domestic animals, as well as vibrant birds. Reach the highest point at around 1845 meters, then descend gradually. Hike alongside the quaint Chimgan village, where the majestic Greater Chimgan (3309 meters) captivates you with its beauty.
Finish hiking in Yubileyniy village, located in the lower part of the Chimgan valley. Then, return to Tashkent, covering a distance of 90 km in about 1.5 hours.
