Discover the essentials of classic cross-country skiing with a focused technique lesson on the scenic Kauppi trails in Tampere. This guided session is designed for beginners and early-intermediate skiers who want to learn the correct movements, improve efficiency, and gain confidence on snow.

Your experience begins at the operator’s base in Kaupinoja, located near the Kauppi outdoor recreation area. Here, you’ll meet your instructor and prepare your equipment. If you don’t have your own skis, poles, or boots, you can get a complete equipment set included in the price.

Once on the snow, your instructor will lead you through the fundamentals of classic skiing. You’ll practice balance, weight transfer, and glide techniques, followed by exercises that help refine your kick-and-glide rhythm. The pace is adapted to your skill level to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the session.

As you progress along the maintained ski tracks of Kauppi, you’ll receive continuous tips and corrections tailored to your movements. By the end of the lesson, you’ll understand the core building blocks of classic style and be able to ski more smoothly and confidently on your own.
