Overview

  • Take a private car to Zhouzhuang in Suzhou, known as the “No.1 Water Town in China.” Admire the iconic scenery, featuring small bridges, murmuring streams, and riverside dwellings. Visit local scenic spots, such as Twin Bridges, Zhang Residence, and Shen Residence.

Zhouzhuang traces its origins to 1086, when construction began. Located southwest of Kunshan City and just over 60 km east of Shanghai, this quintessential Jiangnan water town features a grid-like waterway system interconnected by 14 ancient bridges.

Experience the “soul of the water town” with a rowing boat ride, which carries millennia of waterborne culture. Once a traditional means of transportation in the Jiangnan water town, it now offers immersive experiences and unique perspectives.
