After the center of the Kingdom of Mataram moved to Kartasura and there was a commotion of Chinatown, then Pakubuwana II who became the king of Mataram moved his palace from Kartasura to Sala Village. A more profitable place to rebuild his kingdom, so that in 1745 the kingdom was demolished and paraded towards the city of Surakarta which was located on the edge of the Bengawan River on February 17, 1745.
