As the sun begins its descent, make your way to our enchanting River Island Outpost for an evening that promises to be as sweet as it is unforgettable – Gourmet S'mores! Upon arrival, take a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere of our Outpost. Hammocks, swings, restrooms, and changing rooms await you during our breezy 30-minute check-in process. Here, you'll make a choice: glide on our pontoon boat or paddle your own single or tandem kayak, guided by our expert alongside you, for a half-mile journey down the river to our secluded island. (Please note that sometimes the island might be inaccessible due to weather or flooding in that case we will do the s'mores bar at the Outpost). Beside the inviting fire pit awaits our Gourmet S'mores bar. Here, you'll find all the fixings and instructions to create six tantalizing s'mores variations. Roasting sticks and bottled water are, of course, on the house. After relishing as many s'mores as your heart desires, we will play our Barred Owl call over our speaker and watch to see if any of our feathered friends swoop down to join us for a bit. It is an amazing experience to see these beautiful creatures up close!
