Know before you book

  • The Steamboat NATCHEZ will be in lay-up beginning July 15, 2025, her sister vessel - The Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS will be substituting for her while she is out of service for her annual maintenance schedule
  • Morning Calliope Concert starts at 10:30 a.m.
  • Afternoon Calliope Concert starts at 1:45 p.m.
  • The riverboat is handicap accessible. However, access to the top deck is by stairs only. Please call us with any questions before finalizing your plans if you have questions on access or personal equipment.

The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel, the Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS will be taking her place. You’ll get the same authentic riverboat experience of a leisurely, two-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi, enjoying traditional live jazz, craft cocktails, and all the beautiful New Orleans sites, while also exploring the newly renovated riverboat. Make sure you check out all four decks - the top deck view is a sight to see!

Here is a bit more about the NATCHEZ for when she returns:

The Steamboat NATCHEZ decks, engine room, and bars will be open for your enjoyment after brunch. Included in the ticket price is the cruise, Creole Brunch Buffet, and live jazz by the Steamboat Stompers. Gratuities and alcoholic beverages are not included in the ticket price.

Step aboard one of last authentic steam-powered sternwheelers for a memorable cruise around New Orleans on the Mississippi River. Hear stories of the Big Easy's rich history, sit back, relax and enjoy the New Orleans atmosphere as the smooth jazz fills your ears. This 2-hour cruise from the heart of the French Quarter will take you along the graceful Mississippi River.

  • Louisiana Ham - Applewood ham served with a Creole Honey mustard sauce
