    Itinerary

    • Please make sure to read our Special Requirements below before arriving at the Whistler Sliding Centre.

    • After checking in at Guest Services, your Summer Bobsleigh Experience will begin with an orientation about your ride and track etiquette. After the orientation, you will go on an exclusive track walk with your guide, see the track from an athlete’s perspective, and learn about the sports and history of the Olympic legacy venue. Your team will also line up for your commemorative photo, which you will obtain free of charge after the ride. After arriving at your start position, you will be fitted with a helmet.

    • With the assistance of the track crew, you and your team — including your trained pilot — will be seated in the sled and go through the final safety checks. Listen as your team’s names will be announced on the big speakers. Once the control tower gives your sled the green light, the track crew will give you a push, and it’s “bobsleigh in track” for you, your pilot, and your fellow participants. As you will accelerate down the track, lean into the corners to assist your steering pilot in reaching top speeds of up to 90 km/hr in the final corner. The uphill outrun will slow you to a stop, and the track crew will assist you in exiting the sled. High-five with your pilot and crew, and review the video of your ride.
