Your session begins on land with a focused theory and safety briefing tailored to your level — whether you're paddling out for the first time or chasing your first barrel. Once in the water, your dedicated instructor stays with you for up to 90 minutes, reading the ocean, positioning you on the right waves, and giving you real-time coaching that fast-tracks your progression. After your time in the water, you return to shore for a structured feedback session so every lesson builds on the last.

Kirana Retreat's surf spots — Tropical Beach, Yoyo's Beach, and Supersuck — offer a range of breaks suited to every level, from gentle rollers for beginners to hollow reef barrels for advanced surfers. Your instructor selects the right spot based on conditions and your ability on the day. All gear is provided: surfboard, rash guard, and booties. All you need to do is show up ready to surf.
