What you can expect

Our Lost in Time series from MMHistory features two adventures and takes you on a playful journey through the history of Stuttgart – you decide which challenge suits you best.

With “The Wilhelm Case,” you'll experience the perfect introduction to our escape game series. This game is ideal for beginners, families, and anyone who enjoys solving puzzles and exploring together.
“The Case of Max von Bulsenberg” is our most challenging outdoor escape game, designed for experienced puzzle enthusiasts seeking a more in-depth challenge.

Your adventure begins at Schlossplatz, where you will be personally welcomed by historian Michael Mezger. After a short introduction, you will receive your puzzle book containing all the clues. With this book in hand, you will venture out into the city's streets, alleys, and squares to solve exciting challenges. Each stop takes you to historic sites, connects the present with the past, and allows you to rediscover Stuttgart with fresh eyes.

As you make your way through the city, history comes to life through surprising stories and facts about Württemberg and Stuttgart that are often overlooked. You'll solve a variety of puzzles: logic problems, codes to crack, and creative challenges, some hidden in the puzzle book and some right on buildings and in squares. There is no time pressure; instead, you can truly explore at your own pace – outdoors in the fresh air.

The games are suitable for teenagers and adults who enjoy solving puzzles together. They are especially popular with families, groups of friends, companies, and school classes. You can play on your own, as a couple, or in larger groups of up to 30 people. For large groups, we divide you into teams so that you can experience the same adventure in parallel and everyone can fully immerse themselves in the puzzle fun.

The route takes you through the inner city of Stuttgart, to well-known landmarks as well as to little insider tips that even surprise the locals. Most of the routes are wheelchair and stroller accessible; a few steps can be bypassed. Please bring comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a charged smartphone with an internet connection. You will receive the puzzle book and all materials on site.

At the end, you will return to Schlossplatz, where you will meet Michael again. Together, you will discuss the riddles you solved, share your impressions, and have the opportunity to ask questions about Stuttgart's history. This personal wrap-up completes the experience and will be remembered for a long time.
